Goa Tour - 2018

Believe me if you are from India, every growing kid in town whether he/she living in a small town like Surat,Kanpur etc OR living in Metro cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore always wanted to enjoy the beaches of Goa with their so called cool buddies once in their life time.

Goa Beach

because India is country of middle class people and children of such people only can say and afford it :P

and why I am saying this because I too belong to that category. soon i will be going to Goa, so stay tune for more Goa details and whole Tour itinerary and experiences.

Edited:
So, Few days back I returned to my home after a exciting tour of Goa. we (me and my wife) stayed in Goa for 4 days (and i think that is sufficient, if you differ then you should share your view as well in comments).
We planned our Tour as follows
1) Visiting South Goa by Hop Hop Bus
2) Dhudhsagar Waterfall
3) Malwan
4) North Goa on Bike

Planning (1st & 2nd Day - Train Journey)
  • Total Journey Time from Home town to Goa was about 24 hours.
  • We planned to go to Pune first and then taking another train from Pune to Goa (we have other option of going to Mumbai first and then go to the Goa) but based on Ticket fares which should be under budget we choose Pune over Mumbai.
  • As our next train from Pune had a layover of 7-8 hours so we thought that we would  not be able to get freshen up in train considering our past experiences with train toilets. So we booked a hotel at Pune near station itself on hourly basis for 4-5 hours. so that we can get fresh and have Lunch at Pune.
  • And whatever time left after getting fresh and lunch we can utilized that time visiting famous temple in pune.
  • Also we planned to take food as parcel to have as dinner in train instead of taking food from IRCTC vendors within train.
Planning (3rd Day - Hotel Check-in and Ho-Ho Bus)
  • We reached to "Vasco Da Gama" station of Goa on early morning of our 3rd day of journey. As Calangute location was  41.6 KM away from station as compared to madgaon station which is 49.9 KM
  • upon existing from station we got to know that there is no train from "Vasco Da Gama" station to any near by stations of Calangute, so we left with choice of hiring a CAB to reach to Calangute and which costed us 1100 bucks which was not expected to us. but we had to take the ride of CAB anyways because we had our scheduled tour bus pick up from near our hotel by 9.30 am.

  3. Hey there just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The text in your
post seem to be running off the screen in Opera. I'm not sure if this is
a format issue or something to do with web browser compatibility but I thought I'd
post to let you know. The style and design look great though!

Hope you get the issue fixed soon. Thanks
